Functioning at RK Ashrama and Kampoo, all individualized therapy and education programmes worked out for each differently abled person (any age, category of disability, severity or economic/ social status) go through the trained and focused eye of the therapist and special educator after a detailed assessment (formal and informal), spread over a few sessions.

Family support is crucial to the execution of this programmer, hence training of parents/family members and the child himself in all areas of skill development; be it academic, vocational or daily living - is our focus. Individual therapy sessions are carried over to their homes the best learning place for anyone with mobility/orthotic/feeding/ postural aids and appliances provided which are either paid for or subsidized. The same is true for speech therapy and educational sessions at the center and at home.

ROSHNI has the full support of leading pediatricians of the Indian Pediatricians' Association (IPA) and related field workers in this project. 47 children benefitted in 2004

2005. Dr. Usha Banga, Dr. S. Dhonde, Dr. M. Tiwari make monthly visits ROSHNI for medical clinics. Medical back- up and support includes hearing, vision and dental check ups and our pediatricians' clinics for any medical consultation and treatment.
